The Space
At the heart of the retreat is our 24’ yurt – a circular, one-room living space that brings cozy comfort to wide-open views. Traditionally used by nomadic cultures for centuries, yurts offer a strong, open, and inviting shelter that blurs the line between indoors and nature. Ours is equipped with a star gazing sky light for the perfect natural hue.
Inside, you’ll find one queen bed, plus a convertible queen sofa, making the space ideal for up to four adults. Our deck can accommodate tents by request and up to 6 guests with a small fee. It’s an all in one, open concept room. It’s designed to bring people closer to each other and to the peaceful surroundings just outside the door.
You’ll also have:
- A fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, and essential cookware
- A refrigerator and washer/dryer in a dedicated laundry room
- A private bathroom with full shower
- Wi-Fi and streaming TV (if you want it)
- Heating and cooling for year-round comfort
- A spacious deck with outdoor seating and optional tent setup for additional guests
We’ve kept things intentional. The space is designed to meet your needs without cluttering your experience. Every window frames a view. Every part of the yurt is yours to relax in.
Bedding Space
The yurt sleeps up to four adults comfortably in a shared, open-concept space:
- Queen bed tucked behind folding privacy panels — cozy, quiet, and perfect for deep rest
- Queen sleeper sofa in the main living area — ideal for couples, friends, or extra guests
High-quality linens, pillows, and blankets are provided. Whether you’re here for adventure or restoration, you’ll have a warm, restful place to lay your head.
Living Area
You’ll find:
- A comfortable seating area with a convertible queen sleeper sofa
- Blankets and pillows for cozy evenings by the fire
- A 32” streaming TV and Wi-Fi access, if you want to stay connected
- Thoughtful details like books, games, and soft lighting to help you settle in
Natural light fills the space during the day, while cool mountain air drifts in through the screened windows. Whether you’re sipping coffee at sunrise or winding down after a day outside, this is the spot to just be.
Kitchen & Laundry Room
In the Kitchen:
- Full-size refrigerator and freezer
- Stove, oven, and microwave
- Cookware, utensils, dishes, and basic pantry items
- Coffee maker
- Plenty of counter space and natural light

In the Laundry Room:
- Washer and dryer

Bathroom
A private, full bathroom is tucked inside the yurt. Simple, functional, and thoughtfully kept.
- Walk-in shower with steady hot water
- Toilet and standard vanity with sink
- Fresh towels and toiletries provided
- Small shelf for your travel items
It’s everything you need to feel clean and comfortable after a day on the ridge.
Out on the Deck
Step outside and take it all in. At 2,850 feet, the yurt’s private deck offers a front-row seat to the rhythms of the ridge.
- Wide, open views of rolling pasture and distant mountain ridgelines
- Comfortable seating area perfect for morning coffee or evening stargazing
- Space for yoga, reading, or simply listening to the wind through the trees
- A great spot for spotting wildlife, enjoying golden hour, or watching the fog roll through the valley
This is where sunrise slows you down, and sunset invites you to stay awhile.
Pets are welcome.
Just be sure your dogs are under voice or leash control at all times to protect livestock and wildlife.
Horses are welcome by arrangement.
We can board them during your stay — or, if you become a regular, we can discuss extended accommodations.
